COLOMBO, March 14: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Shaheen A. Gilani visited a hospital here on Saturday and wished speedy recovery to Thilan Samaraweera and Ajantha Mendis, the two Sri Lankan cricketers injured in the Lahore terrorist attack earlier this month.

He expressed well wishes for the players and hoped that they would get well soon. He said everyone wanted to see them in action soon.

The high commissioner also met family members and friends of the players and said that the government and people of Pakistan sympathised with them for the shock and trauma they had gone through.—APP
