SUKKUR, May 21: The Rohri railway police recovered two kidnapped minor brothers early on Thursday from a coach of Peshawar-bound Khyber Mail at the Rohri railway station.

The police found, during a routine checking, the two unconscious victims in two gunny bags belonging to Mohammad Ismail, son of Dewan Gujjar, of Vehari (Punjab) and Arif, son of Afsar, of Quetta.

The boys were identified as eight-year-old Sheheryar and six-year-old Shahzore, sons of Jawed, of Surjani town, Karachi.

According to the police, the two brothers had been kidnapped from Surjani town four days ago and their father Jawed had registered an FIR with Gadap police, Karachi, about their missing.

Police claimed that accused Mohammad Ismail and Arif were members of an inter-provincial gang of human traffickers. The accused uses to kidnap children from different parts of the country and sold them either in the country or abroad, especially the United Arab Emirates, they said. Children are used as camel jockeys in the UAE.

A railway police official told this reporter that they had informed the Karachi police about the recovery of boys and arrest of culprits. A police party was on way to Rohri to take the kidnap victims and accused with them.
