Shoe thrown at BJP leader during rally

MADHYA PRADESH:  A shoe was thrown at BJP Leader LK Advani today during a rally in Katni area of Madhya Pardesh DawnNews reported . The shoes thrower is known to belong to the same party.

Advani was on stage when the shoe was thrown at him. Although the shoe didn’t hit the BJP leader, the police have arrested the offender.

One week ago, a similar incident had taken place when a congress candidate and industrialist Naveen Jindal had a shoe thrown at him while he was addressing a meeting in his constituency in Kurukshetra, when a school teacher flung a shoe at him from the audience.

The incident occurred two days after a Sikh journalist had flung his shoe at the Indian Home Minister at a press conference in Delhi.
