Aisam in Belgrade doubles final

LAHORE: Pakistan’s top tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq made his mark in Belgrade by reaching the doubles final of the 125,000 dollar ATP World Challenger Tennis Championship on Friday.

 

According to the information made available here, on his way to the ultimate showdown, pairing with Lovro Zovko of Croatia, they outplayed the duo of Alessadro Motti of Italy and Florin Mergea of Romania in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 and Bosnian-Serbian pair of Iliga Vucic and Mirza Basic 7-6 (13), 6-3.

 

Dazzled with greater anticipation and agility besides remarkable recovery to all parts of the court, Aisam’s partner supported him with lovely serve and volley game.

 

In the final Aisam-Zovko duo will face the German pair of Michael Kohlman and Philipp Marx.
