KARACHI: Abdul Ghafoor’s last-gasp effort gave KESC a 2-1 victory over PAF in the Pakistan Premier Football League at DHA Stadium on Wednesday.

KESC got off to a fine start with an Aurangzaib strike in the 31st minute only to see PAF’s Mohammad Farooq canceling out his effort in the 77th minute.

With the game on an even keel and only 60 seconds to finish, Ghafoor slammed home to give his side a close win.

Pakistan Navy handed a 3-0 thrashing to NBP at Korangi Baloch Stadium.

The sailors rattled their opponents with two goals before going for the lemons. Abdul Haq gave the Navy a good start with a 24th-minute strike, while Asif Bukhsh doubled the lead in the 35th minute.

Asif Mahmood wrapped up the proceedings when he found the target in the 54th minute.

HBL face PAF, while PIA meet Navy on Saturday.
