Wapda beat PAF to go top in PPFL

LAHORE: Wapda beat Pakistan Air Force (PAF) 2-1 while Navy edged past Army 1-0 in the two PPFL matches played on Sunday.

Wapda opened scoring at the Railway Stadium through Yasir Iqbal in the 24th minute. Zeeshan Javed made it 2-0 in the 30th minute.

PAF’s solidary goal was scored by Mohammad Ahsan in the 46th minute.

By winning Sunday’s match, Wapda now top the standings with 39 points, followed by KRL 38 points.
