QUETTA: An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted Quetta and adjoining areas at midnight on Sunday. The epicentre of the tremor was 300km southwest of Balochistan.

The Meteorological Office in Quetta said the quake’s intensity was 5.5 on the Richter scale.
