GHALANAI: Decapitated bodies of two personnel of Frontier Crops were found buried in a graveyard in the Ambar tehsil of Mohmand tribal region on Tuesday. The two FC men had been kidnapped in May.

According to sources, Yasin Khalil Mohmand and Faqir Shah Bhettani and several other people were kidnapped after militants attacked a checkpost in the Spenkai Tangai area of Khwezai tehsil.

Security forces looked for the kidnapped personnel in Ambar after regaining control of the area which was a stronghold of militants until about two months ago.

Our Correspondent in Landi Kotal adds: The beheaded body of a security man was found in the Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency.

Family sources said that Lance Naik Zainullah of Waziristan Scouts was kidnapped by gunmen a week ago from near his house in Sur Ghar Malakdinkhel area.

Zainullah’s body was thrown outside his house on Tuesday morning. No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and murder.

In the agency, it may be mentioned, two personnel of Mehsud Scouts were kidnapped on May 17 and they still remained untraced.

Honorary captain Daktar Khan Bangash and sepoy Sajid were kidnapped by gunmen from Bara. Mehsud Scouts have arrested a number of suspects.
