QUETTA: Two persons, including a police inspector, were wounded in an explosion in Quetta on Wednesday.

The blast occurred on the city’s outskirts as an explosive device planted on a motorcycle went off, police said.

The explosion caused injuries to a police inspector and an 11-year-old child. Both the injured were rushed to civil hospital where their conditions are stated to be stable.

Meanwhile, in another incident, some unknown men hurled a hand grenade at the house of an official of the Election Commission of Pakistan in the city’s Brewary area. It caused no casualties but caused damage to the window panes of the house. — DawnNews
