Strike in Quetta to condemn minister’s killing

QUETTA: A shutter down strike was being observed in Quetta on Monday against the killing of provincial minister for education, Shafique Ahmed Khan.

All bazaars, markets and shopping centre were closed and there was thin flow of traffic on roads.

Political parties and the traders’ community had given the strike call to condemn the killing of the education minister, who was killed in a firing incident outside his residence in Quetta Sunday evening.

Balochistan Liberation United Front claimed responsibility for the killing. — DawnNews
