Attorney injured in Quetta firing incident

QUETTA: District Attorney Abdul Baqi Achakzai was injured in an incident of firing in the Chaman Housing Society here on Sunday night.

According to sources, Achakzai was going home in his car when he was hit by a bullet. He was taken to the Quetta civil hospital.

Official sources said Achakzai was injured by a bullet fired by his security guard.

They said the gunman had picked up a quarrel with someone and Achakzai went to resolve the issue and suffered the injury. — Staff Correspondent
