Twelve arrested in Peshawar raids

PESHAWAR: Twelve suspects were arrested during a search operation in Peshawar and its outskirts, DawnNews reported.

Police and FC carried out a joint search operation in the city’s Tehkal area and arrested the suspects.

Over 1,400 Afghan nationals and around 100 suspects have been arrested over a period of one month.

Police also seized a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives. Meanwhile, a police official and four criminals were killed during a police encounter. — DawnNews
