The rally started from Chowk Yadgar Peshawar and ended at Peepal Mandi.
Participants of the rally chanted slogans against the perpetrators of bomb blasts and demanded for the government to eliminate all terrorists from the country.
They said that the most of the traders in the city were still terrified after the Meena Bazaar bomb blast and were reluctant to open their shops.
Some traders said that the security arrangements in the city were inadequate and the government should take more safety measures.
Talking to DawnNews, leader of Peace Movement NWFP Said Alam Mahsud said the people of NWFP support the government action against terrorists but they want solid results.
He said the militant leaders were still at large both in Malakand and Waziristan and that is why people were not sure about the success of government actions.
He added that the world should not look at NWFP as a place of churning terrorism and such rallies are to show them that overwhelming majority of Pakhtoon are against terrorists.
'We want to tell to the world that an overwhelming majority of Pakhtoons are against terrorists. We want that all the terrorists should be eliminated whether they belong from our nation or from outside,' said Mahsud.
