Lashkari Raisani to quit PPP office, Senate

Informed sources said that PPP’s Balochistan President Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani had developed differences with the PPP leadership over party affairs. - APP photo

QUETTA: PPP’s Balochistan President Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani has decided to resign from the party office and also his Senate seat.

‘I have decided to resign from the provincial presidency and Senate,’ Raisani told Dawn on Sunday night. However, he did not spell out the reason for his decision. ‘I will soon make the reason public,’ he said.

Informed sources said that Raisani had developed differences with the PPP leadership over party affairs.
