ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari called Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif on Monday and thanked him for his support for the displaced people.

Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar said President Zardari and Mr Sharif discussed a number of issues and agreed to meet soon.

Sources in the PPP said that President Zardari and the PML-N chief would meet in about two weeks, paving way for political stability in the country.
