Pak-India peace process must resume, says Nawaz

MURREE: Sustainable peace is only possible in the region if Pakistan and India develop good relations, said PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif in a meeting with Indian High Commissioner Shard Sabharwal in Murree hill resort.

He told the high commissioner that leaderships of both countries must take initiatives to resume the peace process.

The PML-N chief said the two countries must resolve all outstanding issues through meaningful dialogue.

He urged upon India to refrain from making allegations against Pakistan, which would increase tension in the region.

According to the PML-N, the high commissioner appreciated Nawaz Sharif’s stance over Pak-India relations.
