Implementation of Centralized Advertisement Policy stopped

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira Saturday said the government has stopped implementation of Centralized Advertisement Policy.
Talking to APP after meeting with representatives of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) headed by its president, Mujeeb- ur-Rahman Shami here, he said a four-member committee has been constituted to review the issue.
The minister said the committee comprising of Secretary Information and Broadcasting, Mansoor Sohail, Principal Information Officer (PIO), Ch. Rashid Ahmad and two members from APNS side would prepare its recommendations and submit them within three weeks.—APP
