LAHORE: Police in the city claim to have arrested a member of a banned outfit and recovered arms and ammunition, DawnNews reported.

The suspect, identified only as Junaid, was arrested near Garden Town and is said to belong to the banned group Khair-un-Nisa. Police said that initial investigations revealed that the suspect supplied weapons to accomplices throughout the city.

Police added that Junaid is a resident of Faisalabad, and that around one thousand bullets, one Kalashnikov and four pistols were found in his possession.— DawnNews
