LAHORE: The hearing of the appeal filed by the Punjab government and the Federal government against the release of Hafiz Saeed has been adjourned for one month.

The hearing could not begin because of the absence of the Advocate General Punjab.

The court fined Advocate General Hanif Khatana rupees 10,000 for not presenting himself before the court and causing unnecessary delay.

The hearing has now been adjourned for one month.
