RAWALPINDI: Police arrested forty suspects during a search operation in the Area of Dhok Jabbi in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

SSP Operations, Yaseen Farooq led the operation conducted in the precincts of Airport Police Station.

The suspects held were found without proof of their identities and were shifted to the police station for further investigation.

Police say that those who would be able to prove their identity will be released, while others will be dealt in accordance with the law of the land.

Earlier, Rawalpindi police held and released over four hundred suspects during many similar search operations carried out in different areas of the city following the terrorist attack on the General Headquarters last month.
