Pakistan get useful batting practice in draw

Pakistan got some useful time out in the middle managing a draw on the third day of the three-day game against Sri Lanka Cricket XI. The Sri Lankans scored 345/5d in their first innings to which the Pakistanis replied with 400/8d. The Pakistani bowlers struggled in the second Sri Lankan innings getting just two wickets for the score of 137. When the Sri Lankans declared, the final session was all set for a tight finish with Pakistan needing 83 runs from 20 odd overs. They stumbled along the way losing four quick wickets, leaving Misbahul Haq and Abdul Razzaq and some rain to rescue them.
