New Zealand beat Pakistan in desert thriller

Pakistan and New Zealand faced off in the third and final ODI in Abu Dhabi – which was term ‘decider in the desert.’ New Zealand wrangled their way out of a late flourish from Pakistan, mainly down to number 10 and 11 batsmen, to win the series 2-1.
