KARACHI: The sale of natural gas to SNGPL from the newly-completed Central Processing Facility (CPF) at Manzalai, Tal Block, NWFP, commenced on Wednesday at a rate of 60 mmcfd and was expected to rise up to 120 mmcfd during the initial phase.

Upon the completion of the remaining works the gas deliveries would soon further rise up to at least 200 mmcfd along with the condensate production of around 4,000bpd. The sales from the CPF, alone, are scheduled to be increased to 300 mmcfd with effect from January, 2013.

Pakistan Oilfields Ltd (POL) also joined the Tal consortium in 2001.

Managing Director MOL Pakistan Janos Feher, who was present at the first production of the CPF said, ‘We are absolutely delighted over the start of CPF. This is the reflection of the hard work of the MOL Pakistan team, support of the joint venture partners and continuous encouragement from the federal and the provincial government of NWFP.
