Disorders seem to be the current flavour in Bollywood. In his upcoming film ‘Paa,’ directed by R. Balki Amitabh, 64, will be playing the role of a child called Auro who has a rare genetic disorder called progeria which causes children to age three times faster than normal reports PTI. Most patients of this rare disease live to their early teens.

Of late Amitabh has been taking on challenging roles such as a Genie in Aladin and God in God Tussi Great Ho. In the past he has won critical acclaim for played a patient of Alzheimer’s in Black. For Paa, the actor who stands at 6 feet has been digitally reworked to look 2 feet tall. Amitabh’s son Abhishek Bachchan will be playing his father in the film which is expected to release on December 4, 2009.
