MUSIC: meet miley cyrus

The 14 year old Disney actress, daughter of the very famous Billy ray Cyrus, Miley

Cyrus a.k.a Hannah Montana has released her second album Meet Miley Cyrus.

The Disney star who works in the Hannah Montana series has made her way into a very spectacular singing career. Her album serves as the Hannah Montana series soundtrack as well as her own album.

Hannah Montana: Meet Miley Cyrus has 20 songs mostly dealing with pop-genre, divided into two discs.

The album kicks off with a beautiful start with the first single. “We got the party (with us)” is undoubtedly a really good single but unfortunately the listener would only want to play it in parties for the mingled sensation of techno and pop isn’t pleasing to the ears.

This album has mostly to do with the average school-going teenager with heart-touching songs as “True friend”, “Right here” and “Miss you”. All of the three have wonderful music but what is more is the so-true-lyrics.

Then there are songs, such

as “Good and broken”,

“See you again”, “East Northumberland high”, and “Start all over” which talk about relationships.

Half of the songs in this album are about friendships-having fun, and the early teenage experiences of being left-out.

There are other songs too which are about saying goodbye to a loved one but at the same time telling them that you will always be there when they will need you and you will never forget them. The most impressive single is: “I miss you”, listening to this song will without doubt make tears roll down your cheek.

An album you won’t regret!
