Cooking tips


* To keep the French beans green while boiling, add a little soda.

* To remove dirt from sugar syrup (shirni) add two to three spoons of milk in it while boiling, you will find that the dirt from sugar syrup is stuck on the ends of the bowl.

* When deep frying, put one table spoon of vinegar in the hot oil, to avoid excess absorption of the oil.

* To make roti crispy and nutritious, add handful of gram flour (chana aata) and handful of fine dalia to one bowl of aata.

* To make your tawa nonsprinkle little salt on it. On a cloth napkin apply a little oil and rub it on tawa on low flame. Your ordinary tawa will become non

* Dip the knife in vinegar before cutting fruits. The fruits will not turn black.

* To reduce the sweetness of potatoes, peel them and sprinkle them with some salt and leave them for 20 minutes. Wash the potatoes before cooking them.

* To remove foul smell from chicken/meat, sprinkle some refined flour over it and then wash it properly.

* If you forgot to soak any kind of pulse (daal) overnight, just soak them in warm water for an hour.
