Poets’ Corner
Why did you leave me?
Tears from my eyes falling on the floor
It was the saddest moment of October 12
When I was leaning over my dearest friend
Oh why so early did you leave me gran
When my parents went out you stayed with me
When there was no one to talk you called me
When I felt sad you cheered me
And what not you did for the good of me
But why so early did you leave me
Without you i feel that I lost my treasure
The person whose presence was my pleasure
Sometimes I feel happy that you are in peace
And have to face no more cancer like disease
After I die I shall be there with you
I shall be there to spend a never ending life with you
I wish my family to be good like you
To spend together a new life in heaven with you
I, for your health used to pray
But now for your peace to God I pray
But grandma there are things that I still want to say
There are deeds that I should have done before you went away
You, so early, have left us
That we never were able to express to you our undying love
I wish God calls me soon
Because life is too hard without you
You were my friend and you were my guide
You were such a big part of my life
That its hard to say Goodbye
All I can do now is pray
May your soul be happy and enjoy the paradise
May your soul be in ease and rest in peace

The setting sun
My heart aches with the setting sun
And as the gloom of the ruby glow settles
Washing the sky with scarlet hue
Painting the sea, a delicate gold,
And burning everything that the dusty bloom of the red ball touches;
The blue jay sings the lament of my heart.
In a melancholic rhythm, the music beats
And stabs my heart, deep and deeper still;
Out pours the blood of my lost love,
The excruciating pain of our parting,
The regret, the guilt of my mistakes
And so here I stand alone now
Under the dying glint of the sun;
Where the trees whisper and the wind whistles
And the grass sways, caught in the nature’s spell…
My love is like the setting sun
But I shall not mourn, nor shall I weep,
For O my dear love!
The sun always rises the next day…

The parrot and the kitten
Once a kitten said to a parrot
"I have brought for you a piece of carrot;
Please come down and take it from me;
I can't climb up; it hurts my knee"
The parrot was clever
Said: "I'll come down never,
You as cunning as a fox,
Will capture me in a box,
I can see you don't have anything,
You want to eat me, your hunger is everlasting"
When the kitten saw the parrot so clever,
And no one can beat him ever,
She thought of a plan
And brought two tin cans,
She filled them with water
One was full, other was quarter
Then she hid under a tree nearby
And waited for her sweat to dry
When the parrot looked down
He made a cheerful sound
He saw his reflection in the water
In the tin which was quarter
Thinking it was another parrot
He quickly brought a piece of carrot
To feed the other parrot with it
Although it was bitter a bit
Then he quickly climbed down
And suddenly made a horrible sound
The kitten jumped on the parrot
And snatched the piece of parrot
She jumped on his tummy
The parrot shouted: "Mummy"
But there was no one to hear
And the parrot had to fear
About his life
The kitten brought a knife
And then she ate the parrot
With his only wealth: the piece of carrot!

Black cat
I have a black cat
She likes to sit on mat
She talks very politely
But she bites very hardly
She looks scary in the night
When we play always runs right
She eats very fastly
But she runs slowly
We eat ice cream together
But we never sleep together

My brother
My brother means a world to me
If I am a flower, he is my fragrance
If I am a bird, he is my flight
If I am a poetess, he is my imagination
If I am a singer, he is my voice
If I am a rainbow, he is my colours
If I am a body, he is my spinal cord
If I am an emotion, he is my feeling
If I am a face, he is the expression
If I am food, he is the hunger
If I am water, he is the thirst
If I am a mind, he is the thought
If I am a person, he is my personality
If I am an artist, he is the art
If I am a designer, he is the design
If I am a sister, he is the lovely brother
I love him very much, he is my flight of imagination!

Destiny
I cry out for people who are not even here
I always forget that they will never appear
Is this a punishment for all my mistakes?
Or is this a game that I have to play?
When I hope for love,
It turns into hate.
When I hope for a miracle betrays.
But sometimes I get what I deserve.
After some time we get what we wish to get served.

Makes my heart cry….
On a sweet, misty morning,
A red breast sings a song
Chirping with enthusiasm
…. Enthusiasm too strong
Its dewy black eyes seem
To say so much!
The sadness in its voice,
Makes my heart cry –
On a dark, foggy night
An owl howls in pain
Fluttering his wings in fright
Its large wise eyes seem
To say so much!
The solitude in its voice,
Makes my heart cry
On a busy Monday evening.
A sparrow twitters in its cage
Struggling to get out from
The merciless trap
Its twinkling bright eyes
Seem to say so much!
The graveness in its voice,
Makes my heart cry
Why is it so?
That the world doesn’t care
The indifference in it voice,
Makes my heart cry.
