I will not just shape the present
We will all create the future so count me in!

Let’s create a beautiful atmosphere
Let everyone live without fear

Work together with unity and faith
To make the world a better place

Let us strive for the best

We will unite our nation
We will spread education

Let the world be a peaceful place
Where everyone can live with grace

We should work hard day and night

Make your life such a life that it is to be remembered
Little seedlings, plants and animals all are to be tended.

Child labour

I am a child of the age of nine
I want my future very good and fine
I don’t want to waste my time,
In working for others and standing in line,
For a few coins with an empty stomach and intestine

I am also a part of this world
I want to study, to build a new world
Please do not disgrace me
Please help me, please help me!

Me and my country have a bright future
Come with me to realise this future
Please ban child labour

If I could make the world peaceful
And bring out its beauty
I’ll feel to some extent,

Society is full of different kinds
Some smart and some with poor minds
Some are good, caring and nice
While others are full of evil and vice

Some people are careless
They make a lot of mess
We experience many things in the world
We go to meetings and parties

Be patient in different situations
Like when we have to go through painful
operations
If a robber has entered our home
Quietly dial “emergency” on the phone

Never do anything bad
Because afterwards it will make you sad
If someone is bad or rude to anyone
Then you be nice and friendly to everyone

In our life we have to face new people and new situations
So we have to be attentive and not have any tensions
There are so many people in this world
Some in hot places and some in cold

But everybody is going to die someday
Nobody on this earth will stay
So do good that you are remembered
Be good that you are honoured

When the relatives of the innocent die
Wailing helplessly people cry
Just for money
They take many lives
Sometimes they steal people’s money
Including whatever they have earned
The happiness and lives of people
Get destroyed and burned
Criminals are those evils of society
Who have an evil soul and heart
For their own needs they do families apart
Some people have seen what
criminals have done
They never tell the police what
they have seen
And the time lasts for too long
They think and think and in time
the criminals
Just run away from that place
Everybody should help to finish crime
It is never too late and there is
still time

Corruption, nepotism, red tapism,
Bribery, crime, theft,
Killing, looting, massacre,
Slaughter, fight, terrorism everywhere

I wish I could finish that and change bad into good.
Corruption into fair,
Slaughter into love,
Terrorism into peace,
And evils into virtues.

The good and bad are here to live
together
Like in a rainbow all colours may shine
Those who care for others and fear Allah
And those who do good for the society
But there are some who harm their
fellows
Be aware you never take their path to

As the flower blossoms with thorns around
Learn to live in peace when
enemies surround
Help the poor and bless the
weak with courage so high
To turn the bad into good
and rise from earth to sky
