Oh yes, the good old summer vacations are back, yet again, and everyone must be enjoying their two months of holidays. Most of you might be deciding to go on a trip, off to some place abroad, or even travelling in your own country. Whether you choose a plane trip or a train trip is your choice. They each have their unique amusement, and can be enjoyed in their own unique way.
Who doesn’t want to go on a luxurious trip in a plane? It is very comfortable in every aspect, but be warned, this means of transportation is very expensive.
However, it’s a lot of fun. You are given a very comfortable seat in an air-conditioned cabin. All your needs and wants are attended to by the air hostess and all you have to do is relax and enjoy the flight. Most people prefer the window seat so they can enjoy the moments of flying in the air.
The airplane taking off from the ground, watching the clouds go by, seeing several high mountains look like tiny patches of lands, and then seeing the airplane land, when finally, the tires touch the runway. The most beautiful scene that can be enjoyed while travelling in an airplane is at night.
When you take off high into the air, the houses with their lights on look like beautiful, twinkling spots of light. The expensive flight trip is, overall, good, as you get mouth watering food, a TV, air sickness bags, sleeping, talking etc.
But most people prefer train as a means of transportation if they want to travel short distances. The train trip is enjoyed fully when travelling to areas where the scenery is beautiful.
There is much enjoyment in roaming around train compartments, annoying many people while coming and going, feeling the ups and downs, and being alone with your family or friends in your own private air-conditioned compartment.
The enjoyable part is the view outside the window. Seeing buildings, mountains, rivers, and lakes pass by so fast that you only just catch a glimpse of them. I don’t really enjoy train trips myself, but they are good if the train doesn’t have many stops. If there are too many stops, the train travels slowly, and I get bored.
