Hey cricket lovers, here’s a quiz to check out your cricket knowledge. Take the quiz and then look for big surpriseat the end!

You have to be under 13 to participate. Send in your answers to Dawn Young World, Haroon House, Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi latest by June 15. Mark the envelope Cricket Quiz. Please refrain from sending your answers via email.

The five lucky winners selected by ballot from all correct entries will be entitled to join the cricket summer camp organised by Cricket Unlimited being held from July 1, in Karachi. The camp will run throughout July, three days a week.



A young man was strolling down a street in south London. As he passed a large building with a fence around it, he heard a group of people chanting "Thirteen, thirteen, thirteen, thirteen" over and over again. Curious, he tried to see over the fence, but couldn't. Then he spotted a knot in the wood, and put his eye to the hole. He just managed to spy some old people sitting in deckchairs chanting, before a finger came out of nowhere and poked him in the eye. As he staggered back, the old people started chanting, "Fourteen, fourteen, fourteen, fourteen..."



 Art Competition


For all art enthusiasts here is your chance to prove yourself. Young World is holding an Art competition; the theme of which is ‘Peace’. Pick up your brushes, pencils or whatever medium you use and create your masterpiece, using an A5 size paper.

Send in your entries to us latest by June 30, but make sure that you are no younger than eight and no older than 13 years of age. The drawing should be sent to Dawn Young World, Haroon House, Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi. And don’t forget to write Art competition on the envelope.

Your artwork will be put on display on July 14 on Dawn premises for you and your friends to see.

The first three winners will be awarded prizes, sponsored by Liberty Books.
