How long should the summer vacation be?
According to news the Sindh Education Department has asked the management of private schools not to curtail summer vacation by 15 days, by commencing the acedemic session from August 1.
The education department’s schedule summer vacation will be observed this year from June 01 to August 15, which is opposed by administration of private schools.
According to an All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) spokesman, the private schools had decided to resume the session from August 1 'in greater interest of students' as already there had been large number of casual holidays this year.
Though the matter is to be resolved we invite you to send in your views regarding how long should the summer vacation last. Do you think schools should open on August 1 or August 16?
