After the success of her fourth album Hilary duff is back with her fifth album Dignity. This album has a total of 14 songs. This album has a dance/electronica sound and was produced by Vada Nobles.
It has mixes of all different music. So you better get ready to start dancing.
The album starts with ‘Stranger’ and ‘Dignity’. Both these songs have amazing lyrics and have a great beat. There are songs which are slow like ‘Burned’, and some songs which are splendid like ‘Outside of you’, ‘Between you and me’ and ‘Never stop’.
All of you might have heard the two songs ‘Play with Fire’ and ‘With Love’; ‘With Love’s’ video also advertises Hilary duff’s fragrance. So if that got you moving you should get this album.
Hilary duff has co-written the album with the Grammy-Award winning Kara Dioguardi (Gwen Stefani, Pussy Cat Dolls, Enrique Iglesias, Kelly Clarkson), top producers/songwriters like Chico Bennett and Richard Vission (Madonna, Usher, Killers), Tim and Bob (Madonna, Jennifer Lopez), Vada Nobles (Rhianna, Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans), Fredwrecke (Snoop Dog, Eminem, Fergi) Will I. Am and Rhett Lawrence
This album has some songs which are really expressive like ‘Happy, dreamer’ and ‘I wish’.
The album basically deals with songs which are about Hilary and Joal Maddens break-up and some are about being in a really happy relationship. It deals with a lot of different emotions.
My opinion about this album is that it is a must for all teen girls out there.
The album, released on April 3, 2007 is available in two versions: a standard edition, and a deluxe edition containing bonus material and a DVD featuring nine full length Hilary Duff music videos and an interview called ‘At Home with Hilary Duff’.
