Poets’ Corner

In remembrance: Bob Woolmer

The coach of our cricket team is gone
And now’s the pressure on
On our Pakistani cricket team
Who has lost its self-esteem!
Dear people of our nation
Look at the other side of the whole situation
All of you applauded for him
When we saw Pakistan’s win
Remember BOB for what good he has done
Not what our cricket team has become!
His last dream was to see
Pakistan winning the World Cup Series
He tried his level best
To make our team ahead from the rest
We’ve always criticised our team
Sadly, our former players have been mean!
Still can’t believe Woolmer’s dead
A man with such a smart head
Dear nation, your attitude isn’t helping
Our team in further progressing
In succeeding!!
My country lets encourage our team
And support them in the winning stream
Hope our team doesn’t split or goes astray
The best we can do is PRAY!!
Even now, it’s unbelievable that our coach has passed away
Who coached our team in such a remarkable way
Our team needs your support
You have the batteries to their remote
Don’t you let them end in an agony fort
If you’re not pleased with what I wrote
Then you’re not our team’s well-wisher!

Inzamamul Haq

Born on March 3, 1970 in Multan;
A very great personality of Pakistan.
He stood stir in every circumstances;
But never let the nation to feel lamentation.
He encouraged his team-mates, whenever they needed it;
And gain applause whenever he did it.
He is our hero, pay tribute to him;
He has done such that we should be proud of him.
Yes! He is Inzi who never betrayed us;
He is the sovereign of all our predecessors.
His tenderness affected, all of us;
And not only us but also all other nations.
Many obstacles came in his way;
He overcame them all, asunder them away.
He led his team fromsuch a situation;
Where there was no hope except pray.
His career is luminary for others;
They can take it as their honours.
Started from lucky year 1992;
Ended in 2007, after 17 long years.
He always played sensibly,
And never took his rivals easy;
Whether they were the Caribbeans, Bangladeshis or Aussies.
An expression of vengeance was found on rivals face;
Whenever he came in to play on the playing fields.
An expression of relief and triumph was seen;
Whenever Inzi went off the fields.
He was a tough competitor for all of these;
Whether it was Sachin, Sehwag or Gilchrist.
And now he retired from one-day cricket;
But he was never worried, he never retreat.
He was very quiet, generous and sensational;
Causing great tension and fear to the opposition.
Tears came out from his eyes;
When he left the field for the final time.
He cannot control his emotions to flow;
He played his last match in an aggressive glow.
That’s our Inzi, who worked very hard;
And won by his gentleness, a great many hearts.
That was the last time on March 21,
When our great hero, A Legend, departs.

It’s a miracle!

What drives the stars without a sound?
Why don’t they crash when they spin around?
What holds me up when everything is down?
I know — it’s a miracle
There are many places I may never see,
Full of people just like you and me.
Yet — God knows all, wherever they may be.
I know — it’s a miracle
It’s a miracle just to know,
God is with me wherever I go.
A miracle as big as can be,
That He has time to love me!

I am a little girl

I am a daisy, I am a flower,
I am a little girl with so much power,
I love to learn, I love to write,
I love to share and I never fight,
I always show the best of one,
I always be the best and I can be,
I am a daisy, I am a flower,
I am a little girl with so much power,

Sea

Crystal clear sea in which water flows
I like it when it’s very close
The sea flows, the sea flows.
When waves come, the water gets rough
So its very fast and tough
Kids play over there and have fun
Sometime it gets hot cause of sun
People catch fish in the sea
And sometime the just set them free
People have fun there under the sun
Kids play over there and also run
Sometimes seem very calm and quiet
I like to see it in the night

Result

Oh! God Oh! God.
My result is near
I have so much fear
If my result will be bad,
I will cry with tears.
If my result will be good
And I am understood
That my papa will give me a present
I am sure, he would.

My brother

My brother is very nice.
He loves to eat rice
He looks very cute
When he plays flute
He is just like a prince
He is as sweet as honey
He is three years old
And is more precious than gold
He is very wise
And has brown eyes.
A smile of him keeps my worries away
Words are not enough to describe him
He is very important to me
The brother like him I have never seen
I am so lucky to have a brother like him
He is best of all
He is a treasure of happiness
My brother is the brother
One can never find
I feel proud
Just because a have a brother like him
I love my brother very much
He also loves me very much
I always pray
That God keep him Good and gay
May Allah give my life to him
For it will be my pride.
And bless him in every moment of life.

My old school days

All the days so sweet
All the nights so cool
All the times so memorable
All the memories so unforgettable
Remind me only one thing
My old school days!
All the places I’ve visited
All the classes I’ve shifted
All the scolds I’ve heard
All the questions I’ve been asked
Remind me only one thing
My old school days!
Every moment
Every event
Every hour
Every star
All I do remember of
My old school days!
I’m not perfect
Unless I remember
My old school days.
