Effect Of Indian Movies

Nowadays, we all observe that Indian movies are greatly affecting Pakistani youth, as well as the adults. A child who is just three years old is singing some stupid, romantic songs. I don’t just blame the media for this; parents are also to be blamed. Parents do not give proper time to their children, they do not care what their children are watching on TV. These so-called good Indian movies are spoiling the future of Pakistan.

The cable is so common that the man who could not afford food for himself, his wife and his children, has a cable connection and is paying the money every month for it. I would not go into details because if I start to mention the whole array of problems, it would need a lot of space. The only thing that I would like to tell you all is that it’s high time we realise that we as a nation need to concentrate on our progress and promote our culture rather than follow blindly in another’s footsteps.

Lack Of Playgrounds

Exercise is one of the best means to lead a healthy, happy life; therefore I don’t think there is anyone who can deny the importance of exercise. Everyone is aware of the fact that only a healthy mind can promote and defend the nation. You can’t even perform your routine duties properly unless you are physically fit.

Playing cricket is also a good exercise. It is a popular game not only in Pakistan but all over the World. Through the courtesy of your magazine, I would like toask the concerned authorities as to why there are not sufficient cricket playgrounds in Pakistan as compared to other countries? And existing playgrounds are also neglected by the authorities, especially the Niaz Stadium of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad has one international ground but unfortunately neither international matches nor national matches are being played on this ground. Due to the negligence of concerned authorities the condition has worsened and now the ground is being used as a marriage hall.

Education And Prosperity

Pakistan suffers from a number of social and economic problems. Perhaps the greatest loss comes in the area of education. Whether or not this is a direct result of Pakistan’s economic problems, a poorly educated population is unlikely to participate in family planning or any other form of population control.

Secondly, a poorly educated populace makes Pakistan a poor choice for the foreign investors that it so desperately needs. Deeply linked to the massive debt and poorly educated people, is the large portion of Pakistan’s population that lives in poverty. This is reflected in the fact that 34 per cent of the population lives below the poverty line. The only thing we can do to improve our country is to plead to God to make Pakistan a prosperous, educated and courteous country.
