Poet’s Corner

The Almighty

The one who made our life cheerful
And of him we should be grateful
The mighty and powerful
Who has made this world so beautiful
The cocks that crow and the birds that sing in my ears the bring a melodious ring
The sun that shines and the stars that glow
The rain that falls and the rivers that flow and the twinkling white snow couldn’t let our happiness blow
All these things are made by God
The mighty and powerful lord
Who recommended knowledge powerful than sword
And once to find him I did depart
But came a voice that
I am always in your heart.

A word from God

I cry I weep
At night I can’t sleep
Tears are my prize which I keep…
I say what I want just once you speak.
A word bitter or sweet… all I dream
All I wish is once you speak
A river or a pond which makes my life
Turn around.
A kid cries for his toy,
A man wants happy life and joys
I don’t want anything, just want your voice.
Mountains, hills and deserts, these places
Where I seek just once you speak to make
My life rest and peace…
I dreamed and heard a voice near…
Said “Oh my dear, why you called me
From far here…
I’m so much near, in your heart my dear
Just ask me in your prayer.
I will be always be there to make you out of fear.”
Now I offer prayer to feel God very near.

Allah’s creation

I love the sky
It is bright and blue
It gives a glory in my eyes
When I look at the sky I stare at it
I love the sky
Because its Allah’s creation

Why?

Protests and demonstrations all around
Thrilling gun shots sound
Youngsters loaded with humiliating banners
Accompanying elders going against manners
Till now, I don’t know why
Their tempers fly?
Window panes being broken
Burning tyres as a hatred token
Pebbles and stones being thrown to rupture
parked private cars
Agitators asking the government to have life on Mars!
But still, I don’t know why
They see castles in the blue sky?
Frequent strikes disrupt individual routine works
Pedestrians, meanwhile experience sideways jerks
Many innocent people lose their lives
An icy cold wind prick their relatives like a thousand knives
Yet, I don’t know why
Dozens and dozens die?
Snail-paced progress is what told to me
Naïve leaders buzzing around honey (wealth) like a bee
But then again why, in our anger
We turn the attractions of life to dilapidated sights?
Still, baffled enough by this word, “why”
And sometimes it makes me cry.

Examinations

What a day, what a day!
I wish it would just go away,
I can’t go out, I cannot play,
Inside the house I’m forced to stay.
Books, books and some more books,
I hate their awful shapes and looks
I have to learn, sitting at home,
Tales of Caesar, in ancient Rome
What a scare, what a fright!
I can not sleep, the entire night!
What a beginning, what an end!

A child

In this tomb lies a child
Whose expressions were always mild
He died at the age of eleven
He was born in 1995 on june 7
He was always the top in his class
He wore spectacles made of glass
No one ever held a grudge against him
All those who knew him now dearly miss him.

I miss you mother

My aims were high;
To fly in the sky;
But when my mother die;
With tear in my eye
I was looking to the sky;
I miss my mother;
Bcoz my mother was not like someone other;
Without her I don’t wan’t to real `n’
But in the world it is necessary all inspite write;
I know she had gone to heaven;
As she was a gift to us from the God given;
She can’t come again;
As the laws of nature are absolute;
And are not made to change
I love you mother;
As, no one is like anyone other.

A tribute to the elegance!

We were together for so many years,
Time spend with smiles and tears,
Each of us stood there,
Comforting, `we are alwys here!’
From the ups and downs of life,
For togetherness, we always strived
Now this is our achievement, our success
Although far apart, but none depressed
Our feelings for each other are so strong,
A mix of love, share and care strengthens the bond!
Facing all skirmishes together,
May our friendship last forever!
I owe you all gratitude through this,
If any favour, I have missed,
You all have been there always,
Just thanks cannot do it, no way,
I pray to Al-Mighty, again and again,
May we never live in vain!
