Why does a clock’s hands move to the right?
A:
The first clock was a sundial and it was invented in Egypt. When the sun shone, the position of the shadow cast by a tall stone pillar, called an obelisk, told people what time it was. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West, so in Egypt, which is a Northern Hemisphere, the shadow moves to the right because of that the hands of first mechanical clocks were also made to move in a circle towards the right.

Why aren’t the Olympic Games held every year?
A:
Hercules, was the greatest hero of Greek legend. The Olympics were founded in memory of a race that he and his three brothers are said to have run. To celebrate that race the Greeks held a great athletic competition every year (one year for each brother), the Olympics.

Why do African Elephants have big ears?
A: Animals that live in Africa have a variety of ways of dealing with hot weather there. The ears of African elephants have a large area from which they lose heat. This helps the elephant stay cool.

Which is the smallest mammal?
A:
The world's smallest mammal is a South American rodent called the "PYGMY SHREW". From the end of it's tail to the tip of it's nose this Shrew is only 6 cm long and weighs about as much as a cube of sugar.
