Another year is coming to an end. It seems as if it were just yesterday when we bid farewell to 2005 and welcomed 2006. That’s how time flies! In another two days the year 2007 will begin. It is again time to take stock of what we did in the year that is ending and resolve to do more in the year to come.
While making New Year resolutions, keep one thing in mind – never make resolutions for the sake of making them; only put those things on your to-do list that you know you can at least try to do. Whether you are successful or not only time will tell, but at least give them your best shot.
This time we will have two things to celebrate on January 1 – the New Year and Eidul Azha, as both are falling on the same day. And with the winter vacations on, you have enough time to celebrate. You can easily arrange a get-together with friends and/or family at someone’s place, or hang out with friends.
Just remember that fun with caution is the best strategy (I can see the frowns on some faces as I mention caution, but that is the rule of the game). Okay, no boring lectures this week as it is time to celebrate.
Enjoy the festivities and have a great time. A very happy New Year and Eidul Azha to all of you! Bye!
