When I became a frog

Today I am an ugly frog but before this I used to be a pretty little girl. I was living a happy life at home with my family. Sometimes I would grumble about the routine in my life and wished to have something new.

One night a witch appeared in front of me and touched me with her magic wand, telling me to accompany her or she would turn me into a frog.

I thought it was only a joke and refused to go with her. But the next morning I was shocked to see myself! My arms and legs had become too short. My colour had turned green and my eyes were protruding. I tried to speak but could only croak like a frog! I was not even able to open the door and get out of my room, so I squeezed myself from under the door to hop out onto the lawn.

On the lawn, the grass seemed to me like a huge forest. There I ate weeds and swallowed tiny insects. I hopped and splashed in the mud again and again.

Imagine a pretty, neat and tidy girl turned into a dirty, ugly and stinking frog! Oh, how I hated myself. The other animals also did not become my friends because they did not trust me and thought that I was a spy of the human race.

Even today I feel so lonely and miserable. I now know that human brings are so lucky being the best of the creations because they can think, talk and live decently in a family.

So, dear friends, never wish to be something other than what you are. i
