Poets’ corner

Mum, Dad and me

My parents grew in an old house
In sunny clear sunshine
I grew in a rainy, misty and cold weather,
Around the colourful and modern background of Pakistan
Mum washed clothes with hands
Now washing machine wash our cloths
Dad worked in a small market
But now he has his own office
My parents didn’t have a computer
But I have a personal computer
My parents wrote on a small slate
With a small piece of chalk
But I write on proper copy
With a big sharpened pencil
My parents talked loudly with their friends,
Shouting, and every thing
But I talk softly in a sweet voice with my friends
To show some respect and manners

Teacher

Terrific in everything
English is the language she speaks with me
All the work she makes us do
Then changes into test
Hard questions or
Easy one, I have to do
Rather of one mark or five

Chocolate

Oh look at all that chocolate
All chocolaty and brown
I love the smell
Which makes my heart melts
But wait
It will get me cavity
But I’m just a baby
To think these deeds
So let me just gaze
And have craze
Of that chocolaty choclate

Picnic on the sea

I see golden sand,
Scorching sun,
Trickling water,
Colossal waves,
Picnic on the sea
Shimmering sunlight,
Beach as sandy a desert,
Sun as hot as lava,
People stomping,
Children tramping,
Gold dust spread every where,
Rocks and crabs,
Here and there,
This is what I see..........
This is what I see..........
This is what I see..........

Children

Children are like flowers.
Their personality as clear as crystal
They can be as bright as stars or
They can be as gleaming and shimmering as diamonds.
Sometimes I feel very sad
For those children who can be brighter than stars,
But they can’t afford to learn.
If I could, I would
Give them all the happiness and
Make them shine more brightly.
I will make them so bright
That they will light up the world.

I wish life was like a computer

I wish life was like a C.P.U
And I wish this gift was just given to me and you
Then we can make animation in our life just as we like
We can make a fridge speak or fly a bike
We can surf different places just like we surfed the net
This is sure to be interesting, I bet
We can search about things or watch encyclopaedia
Or we can relax ourselves by music, movies and other media
We can play different games in it
We can be famous and a our lives can be a hit
Best of all we can go back in time with ctrl+Z
We can undo our mistakes and go without tension to bed
This life is just an imaginary life on computer
How foolish of me to waste my and your time day dreaming like a looser

My childhood days

How beautiful were those charming days
The only grief of the broken toys
Worries or tension no, not at all
Just watching cartoons and wondering always
Not to work but play all the time
And ignoring all what the elder says
Scoring good marks then show to all
And getting happy when all they praise
Not to worry for the marks and grade
But have to stand first in the race
Littering and throwing things here and there
Then shouts of mom “who did this mess?”
In angry mood when dad use to call
Then say at once “Oh God bless”
Sitting alone under the shade of a tree
Remembering all my childhood days

Nature

The sun is bright
And gives us light
The moon shines
When its night
The stars spark
When its dark
The birds are free
And perches on the tree
The trees are lush and green
Every where to be seen
The flowers are beautiful
Too pretty and colourful
The wind blows
And the river flows
The sea thunders and roars
Along the sea shores
Every where is green
And the environment is gay and clean
If we imagine,
What a wonderful scene!
We all must thank God!
For his blessing and mercy
And being our lord!
