The shark
A treacherous monster is the shark
He never makes the least remarks
And when he sees you on the sand,
He doesn’t seem to want to land.
He watches you take off your clothes,
And not the least excitement shows.
His eyes do not grow bright or roll,

He has astounding self-control.
He waits till you are quite undressed,
And seems to take no interest.
And when towards the sea you leap,
He looks, as he was asleep.
But when you once get in his range,
His whole demean seems to change.
He throws his body right about,
And his true character comes out.
It’s no use crying or appealing,
He seems to lose his all decent feeling.
After this warning you will wish
To keep clear of this treacherous fish.
His back is black, his stomach white,
He has a very dangerous bite…

Sunflower
My favourite flower is sunflower
On it the sunlight shower
It is a unique flower of all
Its stalk is very tall
Towards the direction of sun it moves
The freshness it proves
Soft petals it has
But we should not chase
It is one of the best
Its ability is often to be a test.

Flowers
Flowers are of many kinds
In gardens they are found
Flowers are very beautiful
They make the garden colourful
Flowers are Allah’s creation
We give them to our friends and teacher
Flowers are used in happy and sad times
And they grow with the help of sun shine
Gardens are full of flowers in spring
Who have created them, have you ever thought?
This all is created by Almighty Allah
And after seeing them you should say Subhan Allah

A precious gift
The greatest gift of God
A man can ever receive
Which can bear the wound of sword
To keep you away from being deceived
Which can suffer any hurricane
Making you seem its sugar-cane
One who can fight any storm
She is the greatest, our mom
Whose heart is a house of love
Whose worries start just with your cough?
She is more peaceful than a dove
At times, she could be rough or tough
She has the power of producing diamond in a mud
For a good future of her child
She can flow her blood, like water
She can tame a person spoiled
The love just goes further and further
In the precious heart of our mother

My world
Once I thought about a world,
Where everybody should be bold,
A world of happiness and joyfulness,
A world of little bit craziness,
Yeh a little bit of sadness,
But the whole cake should be of sweetness,
A world in which people respect and love,
A world where there be no war and battle,
A world with peace and calmness,
Where people speak with gentleness,
Where people should cry on a joke,
And should laugh at any trouble,
A world with flowers and trees,
A world with smiles and cheers
A world in which gates of houses should be open,
With no harm of weapons and thieves,
A world in which native should be protected,
From the black gaseous clouds of pollution,
A paradise of flowers, seas and birds,
That I always book when I sleep deep,
A world like a heaven of God,
In which dreams come true for every man,
Will my dream come true?
I will wait for that day till doomsday,
I will try my level best to make this world a paradise,
Where people should not have time for cries.

Longing in vain
I long to see the star strewn sky.
But instead I see scattered bodies.
I long to see the glorious sunrise.
But instead I see impenetrable darkness.
I long to smell the fresh seaside air.
But instead I smell unenviable staleness.
I long to smell the scent of roses.
But instead I get pricked by their thorns.
I long to hear of mass celebrations, functions, and gatherings
But instead I hear of bloodshed
I long to hear soundless music.
But instead I hear humanity weep.
I long to sample the taste of sweetness.
But instead I am overwhelmed with bitterness.
I long to touch greatness.
But instead I avenge meekness.
I long for that of which there is none.
I long for that which will one day come.
I long for that which was deemed impossible yesterday.
I long for that which seems possible today.
I long for that which will be probable tomorrow.
I long for that which will be unavoidable the day after
I long for that which will be a part of history soon after.
I long for that of which there is none.
I long for that which will one day come.
I long....
I long...
I long...
For peace.

My school
My school was a place where I loved to go
After leaving it I came to know
How much my school meant to me
It made me the best a person could be
The teachers who taught the best to us
But also punished if someone would fuss
All the times talking with friends
Fighting a lot but then shaking hands
The teachers I liked, the friends I met
School is where all the joys you can get
These moments don’t come ever again in life
They are hard to forget and hard to wipe.
