Movie: The family stone |
So how do you define a movie that has everything in it, a loving family, a love story or a love triangle sort of thing, and everything else you can imagine! The Family Stone directed by Thomas Bezucha is one such movie that has all that any movie fan could wish for.The movie revolves around the Stones family that lives in New England and is waiting for their eldest son (Dermot Mulroney) to bring home his girlfriend (Sarah Jessica Parker) to meet the entire family on Christmas. Sarah Jessica Parker plays a high-powered, controlling New Yorker freak who is trying her best to be on the good side of the family. The movie has a huge cast that includes Rachel McAdams who play the sister of Dermot, Diane Keaton who plays the mother who clearly shows her dislike towards her son’s girlfriend and not to forget Luke Wilson who plays the freaky brother. It also includes the father played by Craig T. Nelson. There is also Sarah Jessica Parker’s sister played by Claire Danes, who is invited by her sister, for moral support. If you want my advice I clearly recommend this movie because it ought to make you laugh the way it made me. Meha Javed Abbasi |
