Sehar and Mehar were two sisters who always fought with each other, but even then they loved each other very much. The house echoed with their quarrels day in and day out, but today, something was wrong. Both sisters were sitting quietly, in deep thought. Mehar was six-years-old studying in class two, whereas Sehar was eight years of age studying in the fourth class.
Their love for each other was limitless. Both belonged to a well reputed family, two loving parents and a three-year-old brother named Wasim. “Why aren’t the two of you ready for tuition yet,” Mother inquired while entering the drawing room. “I’m not going for tuition today”. Mehar responded. “I’m not either”, said Sehar.
“Why not”? Mother asked. “I don’t want to be kidnapped mom,” cried Mehar and hugged her mother. “Hey…who is going to kidnap you my dear child?” Asked her mother smilingly. “I heard our neighbour, Uncle Faiz telling his son this while scolding him,” stated Sehar peeping outside the window. “Oh…ha.ha.ha….” Sehar and Mehar’s mother laughed. “Why are you laughing mom? Mehar inquired innocently. “Uncle Faiz says this to scare his son when he stays late outside the house,” said mother. “Thank God”, both sisters sighed.

The room is dark and Mehar is calling for help but no one is listening. “Mom, Sehar listen to me, please help me and take me out from this miserable place.” Mehar calls while crying. Suddenly a horrible faced person appears and groans in a horrible voice.
“Ha ha… you are in my custody, I have kidnapped you… Who will save you from me now?
Mehar frightened by this man started crying for help loudly. Saher her sister sleeping next to her wakes up by her shrieks and asks her what happened. Mehar immediately hugs her sister asking her why she didn’t come to help her. “Oh, now I have understood… you must have seen a terrible dream,” said Saher wiping her tears. “Don’t worry we’re all here nothing can happen to you now.”

Saher takes breakfast with her family. Her mother is serving. When her mother comes close to Mehar to serve her breakfast, she refuses to take any, her mother asks the reason for this attitude but she doesn’t respond, noticing all this Sehar says smilingly, “Mom, she is afraid”. “Afraid! But why?” Asks her father. “Come here”. “What are you afraid of, tell me”. Her sister interrupted again, to tell their parents about the horrible dream that she had. After hearing all this, Sehar, Mehar’s parents kiss her forehead and try to convince her that it was just a dream and nothing else.

Sehar’s mother is alone at home with her three-year-old son while the rest of the family members are out. Sehar and Mehar are at school and their father is at his office. The telephone rings mother receives the phone. She looks totally bewildered after what she hears on the phone. Sehar’s classmates had called to tell Sehar’s mother that she had been kidnapped and Maher couldn’t be found as well. Sehar’s mother was devastated and called their father.

Sehar’s father arrived home and anxiously inquired about his children. “Thank God you’ve come. Do something; bring back our daughters home,” says Sehar’s mother who had broken down in tears. At once the telephone rang; father suddenly picked up the phone and said, “Hello, yes I’m speaking…. But who are you….” the line breaks. Father gets worried and after a while father informs the police. After lodging an FIR on the way back Sehar’s father meets Sehar’s friend’s father. “Salaam Mr.Ali Khan you look upset. Is everything all right?” he inquired. Sehar’s father opened out his heart and told the man the whole story.
“What”! This is impossible they are at my house, I’ve just seen them there,” exclaimed Sehar’s friend’s father. “What?” Sehar’s father is totally taken aback and accompanies the man to his house to find out the truth.
Sehar and Mehar are amazed to see their father enter their friend’s house . Looking at him makes them jittery as he looks very angry. He walks up to them and asks the two girls why they played this prank on him. “I’m sorry papa we just wanted to make you an April fool”. Sehar says with her eyes down. “We are sorry for our foolish mistake, please papa forgive us we won’t play such games again,” said Sehar and Mehar regretfully. After coming back home they promised their parents never to play such a prank again.
