Mobile snatching
Recently, there has been a shocking increase in mobile phone snatching in Karachi and a few people have even lost their lives while trying to resist the robbers. Everyday we find that more people have been robbed and all we do is complain about the lawlessness in the city.

But we fail to perceive the reason behind all these thefts. Surely, the robbers don’t want these mobiles for their own use! They sell these in mobile markets, which are present all over the city. And guess who buy these mobiles? We do.

If we just realize that by buying these illegal cellular phones we cause more thefts and deaths, we might be able to stop this injustice. Just to save some bucks we cause unimaginable harm and loss because we are the ones who encourage the robbers to continue the practice of mobile snatching. I admit that buying new mobiles is very expensive and it is not affordable to most, but honestly how many of us really need a cell phone anyway? We just buy them to look cool and show it off to friends.

It’s about time we realize the seriousness of this practice and discourage the trade of second-hand mobiles that are sold without any authentic warranty.

If you are still not convinced, look at it in this way, if these muggers are not stopped, you might be the next victim because every citizen is vulnerable to these snatchers.

Harry Potter in Karachi cinemas
Harry Potter phenomenon has acquired global acknowledgement. Its movies have done blockbuster business all over the world but it is unfortunate that in Karachi cinemas they are not being shown. I am sure a lot of Harry Potter fans like me surely want to see the movies on the big screen.

So it is my request to Karachi cinema owners to please release Harry Potter films on the big screen too.

Road vexation
Through this letter I want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the construction of roads in Hyderabad. The roads over here, even the busy thoroughfares are loathsome indeed. These roads not only make driving difficult but cause great amount of contamination as well. I beg the authorities to take appropriate measures for the improvement of these roads.

Let’s help one another
I would like to draw the attention of all those who have the facility of using the Internet, that through the Internet we can contribute to different magazines and guide people like I am doing, thus forming a guide group, through which you can guide people who need the support of some friend. You can guide them in their tough times. You can even get the latest news and be an up-to-date-kid in your class.

So please use the Net judiciously for gaining knowledge and helping others rather than abusing it.

Increased traffic jams!
No doubt, Karachi is facing a serious problem of repeated traffic jams. Giving it a thought, is this problem because of the increased car ratio in the city or because of roads being insufficient to take such loads?

Whatever the problem may be, the government should take quick and serious action towards this — either by making more flyovers or by some how increasing the size of the roads.

Another problem is that the construction officials take too long to complete one single flyover, they should work faster and try to complete their work on time, so that the precious time of the people is not wasted.
