Book: Living dead in dallas

This book is about vampires living in America, they are coexisting with human beings. Humans who are associated with them includes the main character of this story, Sookie Stackhouse — is a telepath who can read human minds but is unable to read most vampire minds. Sookie works as bar-maid at a bar which is usually visited by both humans and the vampires of that area.

One night, Sookie gets attacked by some kind of a mythical and poisonous beast and is dying. The local vampires agree to suck the poison out of her blood to save her life but in return wants a favour from her. One of the vampires living in their Dallas headquarters has been missing for some time and she has to find him using her telepathic abilities. She goes to Dallas with her vampire boyfriend, Bill. Over there, she encounters many problems but finally finds their lost friend and returns to her hometown with Bill.

The story tends to get boring in between, specially towards the end and it’s not such a great story either. It is a typical horror story with gross and gory parts like the one when Sookie is attacked by the beast; when you imagine the injuries most of you will feel like throwing up. If this book could be rated, I would give it a one star (*) meaning a complete waste of time.

I would NOT recommend this book as many sections are obscene and hence not fit for young people.
