A leaf is fluttering side to side, Swaying gently to and fro, Lying on the sand sprinkling sot, Waiting for the blustery breeze to come And twirl it to an amazing garden, The garden is full of flowers and powers, Rows of blushing red colour.

The tall green trees
Toddle in the cool breeze The red sun shone high Up above the clouds, in the sky There was a girl wearing glasses Who was going for her classes Was quite suprised to see such buzzy flies She realized what nature had brought In her favour to see such beautiful things

Why?
Why every country is making bombs? Why are they also destroying tombs? Why every country is busy in fighting? Why peace is ending and war is starting? Why during war innocent children are dying? Why everyone here and there is lying? Why everywhere blood is shedding? Why in every newspaper war is the heading? Why can’t they live in peace and be friends? Why can’t they be friends and have nice trends?

In my defence
In my defense, what is there to say? All the mistakes we made, must be faced today. It’s not easy now. No way where to start. While the world we love, tears itself apart. And for just a single withered song. How can I try to right the wrong? In my defence, what is there to say? We destroy the love, it’s our way. For just a single withered melody. And like a passing song Love’s here ‘N’ Love’s gone. I’m coming between, with a fading dream. How can I try to re-live or die? O! Help me God, please help me.

Friendship
There is a bond of love, Which is beyond any relationship, That bond of love, Is called friendship. Friendship is like the sky, Which has no end, Friendship is like a diamond, Which we can never bend. Friendship heals all injuries, Friendship can make love, Friendship is a thing Which will make you fly like a dove. Friendship can cure them all, Friendship can stand all, Because friendship is the best of all.

The splendour of loneliness
I wish I could live alone, In a house, that I could own. Away from noise and from where dogs do bark. I could live in my house as free as a lark. I would love to live in the country world, Rather in the city where my brain with tension is curled. By no one’s decisions would my life be curbed. By no one would I be disturbed. No one would penetrate me, In a world where I would be free. When night would come to lie down in peace, And I would look around in fear for company somewhere, A voice inside me would say, “Rest in peace, God is there.” All my life I would find happiness. Now, do you realize the splendour of loneliness?

Subjects
The subjects that we study this year, Are making our school life rather dear, Though along with work we do have fun, Here they are mentioned one by one: “Urdu” certainly is not a bore, Never makes us feel like having more, Our teacher’s knowledge never ceases, Showered on us are prose and poetry pieces, Cramming seems the only way, To pass our test today. “Maths” comes next, Frankly speaking it’s my very best, “Science” oh! what a mess, Take results? well you can guess! “Pakstudies” “Islamiat” both are enough, Sure! They make our life rather rough. Studying “English”, well that’s a lot of fun, With poetry, prose and so much fun. Studies! Studies! Another test? Our brains really need some rest!

Rivals in my class
There are two rivals in my class, Who fight with each other, In every class test to pass, They compete with each other. Their names are Maria and Samer, They always cause too much clamour, They shoot each other with angry words, That it seems we are surrounded by nerds. Maria gets too serious over anything, While Samer never stops arguing as if she is a king. Sometimes we try to stop them, But instead we have to be quiet like a gem. Between them there is always competition, Like if they are in a business session. Each of them wants highest marks in every test, But I think they are nothing less than a pest! They never agree on the same matter, Whether this Earth is moving or thrown with great clatter! They are even worse than cats and dogs, I wish I could beat them with many logs! But we enjoy, watching them fight, Not a movie or anything but a great sight!
