A memorable concert

By Tahir Yahya

A decent crowd and a larger than life performance by the uprising star of the country, Atif Aslam, all made for a fantastic time.

The main thing I would like to point out here is that the main failure of most concerts is due to the fact that many of our stars don’t perform live and prefer playback. But full marks to Atif Aslam who sang live and took the night by storm with his melodious voice supported by a team of good musicians. There was a constant roar of ‘Once more’ after almost every song and much to the surprise of us all, he did not disappoint the crowd and repeat the songs which the crowd was requesting to be performed again.

He started with the hits from his album ‘Jal Pari’. All of which entertained the crowd to the height. The crowd cheered for Aadat on top of their voices. But he sure was saving the best for the last and at the end of the concert he performed Aadat extremely well. Full credit to you Atif.

The duration of the song was stretched for about 12 minutes and it really rocked the crowd . In between the songs Atif introduced himself and his band.

There was a question answer session as well in which Atif answered the queries of his fans. Much to the amusement of the crowd, he went back to singing and performed extremely well.

I would like to say that at the end of the day it was a great evening out, everyone enjoyed the show to a maximum and Atif Aslam got full marks for his ace performance. Thumbs up to you buddy!
