I had a beautiful Alsatian female pup whose name was Candy but she died very soon. She was born on December 1, 2002. She came to our house on Wednesday on December 18, 2002 when she was just eighteen days old; the time was 10:10 pm. Those days were very cold and after some days, she became very thin and wouldn’t eat or drink anything.
She also had a male pup with her and as our house is not so big, we couldn’t keep two of them, and had to give one of them to someone. Candy was becoming thin day by day and all the members of my family began to like the male pup more as he was very fat and looked very cute. So, it was decided that we would give Candy to our neighbours who already had an old German shepherd bitch and they had kept many dogs so they could raise Candy with more care.
On January 10, 2003, I put Candy into a box and carried her to my neighbours’ house with a heavy heart. They examined her and said that she might die soon as she had some kind of illness because of the cold weather. We went to see her almost everyday but on January 18, we couldn’t go to see her, as we had to go somewhere else. At night, our neighbours called us and gave us the bad news that Candy had died because of illness as well as sorrow. We all were very grieved and I cried a lot.
She was very loving and very intelligent. She was very polite and humble and was very patient as she never even let us know that she was suffering from a serious illness and was becoming weak day by day. I wish she were still present in this world so I would be able to give her all my kindness and love but if only she was here.
