Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has a policy that no one can enrol more than once. I did my Intermediate but due to some medical problem I was not able to prepare for my 1st year and 2nd year exams properly, I cleared my papers but with poor marks. Now I want to repeat but the Board says that I have to give all the papers together, which is very difficult. Besides this, you get an improvement marks sheet due to which you are given the least preference in a university admission. I would like to ask BIEK why can’t a person enrol twice.
Please look into this matter as these policies are only wasting the lives of many students.

Renovation of our heritage
I want to state that people are getting away from our past heritage. No one likes to visit old ruins. In my opinion if we renovate them in the same manner artificially as they used to be in the past then people will come with more zeal to witness the monuments’ past glory. In the western countries people care so much for their monuments and strive to make them more attractive in every possible way. For example, we can decorate Shahi Qila and Sheesh Mehal in the same way as they used to be in the past. This can increase their elegance and beauty and the foreigners can also have an idea of the lifestyles of the people of the past.
I hope the government would look into the matter and do its utmost to bring to life these old buildings.

Parents and teachers together
A good student-teacher relationship is very essential for healthy learning environment. It is seen that students are often rude to teachers and they behave in a strange way, that is often difficult for a teacher to understand. Our teachers and parents often seem to be busy all day, but I guess they have to meet each other and solve our problems. This way they would get to know each other and solve our problems better.
