Movie: Charlie’s angels — full throttle

By Zia Imtiaz

Turn up the volume, the Angels are back! Cameroon Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu are back with there action pack sequel Charlie’s Angels Full throttle. Using their talents to solve crimes and stop worthy opponents as they go undercover to retrieve two missing silver bands. These are no ordinary silver bands; they contain valuable encrypted information that reveals the new identities of every person in the Federal Witness Protection Programme. But when witnesses start turning up dead, only the Angels, using their expertise as masters of disguise, and martial arts can stop the perpetrator, a mysterious “fallen” Angel. Aided by their trusty colleague, Jimmy Bosley, the girls must find the rings before the thief sells the information to the top mob families around the world. The Angels eventually discover that the main perpetrator is ex-Angel, Madison Lee Demi Moori, who believed “being part of the Angel family” was a load of crap; she can get it done a lot better on her own. Up to this point, the story still has you interested, even though there are more than enough tongue-in-cheek gags to go around. Things begin to slide southward, however, as the film frantically tries to tie up the loose ends, and the final climactic battle between the good and the fallen Angels begins at a remote Mongolian outpost Dylan is forced to face a dark secret from her past — a secret that puts the lives of her two best friends in danger.
