Peace

There is no Superman.
There is no Batman.
There is no wonder woman.
There is no Justice league.
But there is one thing I know.
Peace, which is under destruction.
But don’t think we are helpless.
If we join our hands together we can.
Make a better peaceful world.

The queer girl

I once met a girl with a dirty pale face,
She ran about as if in a race,
This girl I met was no normal girl,
In fact, she had on her head a big curl,
She talked to herself, even in her sleep,
And when she had bad dreams,
she gave a big leap!
She sat in front of the TV
and stared and stared,
I asked her if about her eyes she cared,
This girl was tall, this girl was fair,
She had the looks of King Lear!
She completed her work, never in time,
For breakfast she usually had a lime,
She had friends, who were ready to die,
At this queer girl’s even slightest cry!
I’ve looked for this girl many a time,
But then finding her would surely be a crime!

Pain and agony

Enjoy everything but in limits
Because happiness doesn’t remain uniform
After every spring, there comes autumn
And after every happiness, there comes pains and agony.
As in all gardens
There is a flower and a thorn
That’s why in life, there is happiness
But pains and agony also...

The dove of peace

Be it tense or peace,
Your are a symbol of peace,
You teach peace by your silent gestures You teach peace to all cultures,
To coo for peace, is your duty
To prove your fidelity
But, is it you to blame?
For putting Kashmir on flames
No, it is not so,
You never make a row
But men never learn from you
Though others do so from you
With people’s efforts all in vain
To bring the tension into the chain
Chirping in the tall trees
Bird of peace!
Come forward and make a gain.

The milky way

Oh! The milky way,
If I was to travel across that way,
I would see the planets orbiting the sun,
Like some African tribes worshipping the sun,
Oh! The Milky Way,
If I was to travel across that way, I would see the Moon,
And put the national flag on it very soon,
Oh! The Milky Way,
If I was to travel across that way,
I would see satellites and shooting stars,
Whizzing around Mars,
Oh! The Milky Way,
If I was to travel across that way,
I would see spaceships,
With astronauts eating chips,
Oh! The Milky Way,
If I was to travel across that way,
What a lot I would see!

The method of smiling

When I am in despair
And find myself close to a tear
I close my eyes
And face the open skies
I can hear the winds
Whispering to the trees
And howling to the leaves
The clouds come close by
May be to greet each other
Hello! Hi!
My heart lightens
And my face brightens
A smile crosses my face
And I laugh without any haze
So peaceful, so quiet, so cheerful, so calm
No where you can find
Atmosphere with such charm.

I can ...

I can carry a thousand moods,
To take on your whims match for match.
I can fake deliberate lies,
And elude you into living truths.
I can hold infinite facades,
In the wake of your asking.
I can fashion a perfect world,
And give you a heaven on earth..

Stranger

Hello stranger!
You came right on time;
I look for your face in every
crowd or in line;
Hello stranger!
Not a moment to soon;
See,that old picture’s still fading
In the drawer of my room;
All toys have gone lost;
Baby teeth have come loose;
There were accidents involving stitches
Spilt juice;
Report cards were shown;
And the time I got sick it was nothing
I couldn’t get you upon or quick;
Hello stranger!
You came to the right place;
And you hardly seem strange...
Now that I’ve seen your face!
